We are halfway through NAM/NAMM and have yet to see the annual NAM/NAM Presidential Proclamation. We’ve gotten one every year for years even during Trump 1. What’s going on?
The absence of the Presidential Proclamation came up a few days ago on some FB forums. I figured Trump. (that is, an office lacky in a short short skirt) might be holding it up for a few days. Other presidents have not been with-it, but even those latecomers posted it by the end of the first week. Is he waiting for National Adoption Day next Saturday? Probably not. Or is he holding it up to make a bilgy TruthSocial announcement that he’s adopting a newborn blond-blue-eyed mini-him this month? Don’t laugh! During the Clinton administration, Hillary spaced out and said that she and Bill might adopt after he left office.

Both sound suspiciously. in part, close to this week’s Fostering the Future for American Children and Famiies Executive Order. and his 2020 plan to “strengthen child welfare. Gotta keep his evangelical base happy.

I’m glad he’s ignoring us. I don’t want the good name of Bastard sullied by his pathetic orange self. We are messed with enough without his grubby small fingers poking into our business. Adoptees are used to being ignored, but sometimes it is good.
I wonder how many of us he’s created. If I were Dear Leader’s daughter, I’d show up at the front door of the White House on Christmas morning and demand a share of the Trump money, and glory or a least a faux gold-plated doorknob from Home Depot.
