For weeks now, we’ve been hearing from certain corners how “this woman” (Bastardette) and a handful of loons are the only opposition to Hawai’i’s safe haven scheme. Tonight I’m posting letters of opposition to HB 1830 sent to Gov Linda Lingle by other macadamias: The American Adoption Congress and Adoption Circle Hawai’i.
Also check out Anita Field’s letter to Linda Lingle on her blog.
If you have letter you’d like to go up here, send it to me. I’m publishing the AAC and ACH letters separately as the evening goes on.
And remember: it’s not to late to get your voice heard.

Don’t you have anything better to do? You know you won’t change the minds of anyone who reads this blog. You know your post will be deleted. Are you panicking because this bill is headed for the veto pile? And do you think you can change that by lobbing personal insults and invoking Oprah in someone’s blog comments?
Seems you’re so used to winning every battle that you don’t care how bad you make your own side look. Well, I don’t think you’re going to win this one. And I don’t think a single baby is going to die as a result. The government works for adoptees too, no matter how much that annoys you and people like you.
As stated previously, the Morriseys are banned from posting on The Daily Bastardette. All of the “deleted comments” on this page appear to be posted by them or their agents, so they have been removed.
