NAAM Day 18: What Kind of Adoption Agency Allows This?

Or need I ask?

Got a real short one today. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel one way or the other.

I refuse to leave Twitter (it will never be X). As an oppositional researcher, it is indispensable tool for me to see what’s going on with the basketful–now trainload–of deplorables who are taking over the country unless we stop them. Information is power. The knives are out.

I read a lot of tweets from people–a lot of (usually white) women–who believe they are industrial-sized baby-making machines, and that every other woman owes it to God and the US government to buckle up and do her job.

Today, Lila Rose, founder of LiveAction kicked off a discussion on how her 3 kids are hardly enough and she wants to have a lot more. She likes to point out that money should never be an issue whether you are discussing a first child or a 12th. There is always enough $$$ to go around. Check out what she pays herself, and this doesn’t count her outside income and her husband’s. Of course, it’s not an issue with her. [free registration required]

One of my best friends in high school was the 6th of 12 living children with an additional 3 or 4 miscarriages or stillbirths.  Her mother was pregnant for nearly 25  years straight. They were Catholic and doing God’s will, but other Catholic parents in the neighborhood thought that this family gave them and the church a bad name. In good weather their mother sat in a lawn chair in the front yard all day, staring off into space and scowling.  I think she was often drunk. Their father beat the kids regularly, ripped the phone out of the wall so often that Ohio Bell refused to replace it, and was drop-dead-drunk every night. I know how my friend lived.  She got married right after her 16th birthday to get out of the house. Of the 12 kids, 1 had 4 kids, 6 had 2 kids, and 5 had none I wonder why?

Well, today this tweet showed up in the discussion. (I have trouble making screen shots, so I have to cut and paste). I suspect this person’s is a bot. or at least a fake name. She appears nowhere else through a Google search. Her addy and image look hinky. Her account is full of posts and RTs from Charlie Kirk, Libs of Tik Tok, Matt Walsh–a whole crew of racist, misogynist MAGA oinkers or worse.

Still, I’m posting it here.

I know that adoption agency ethics skate on thin ice, but whatever agency did this, if it is true, was under the bottom feeder. Pile-ons are frowned upon.
Maybe I’m reading this wrong. Maybe she adopted the kid when her other kids were adults. It happens, but I’ve heard too many AdoptionLand stories about kid kollectors. You can’t just be satisfied with one, especially when you can take someone elses.
