Did you know that the Illinois Legislative page does not list email addys? Addys are not posted on the “contact” page and my personal sampling of leggies personal pages shows only one pol (Sara Feigenholtz, no less) who has an email contact listed. The few addys we do have don’t work.
What could this possibly mean?
I’ve held up posting the BN action alert due to this…er…problem. We’ve got phone numbers, faxes and mail addresses.
Does this help?

That is most strange, Marley. It gives the impression that the sovereign state of IL doesn’t want the voting public having access to the legislature. Would the easiest thing be to fax tham?
Thanks. anon. The list is old. (Obama is on it), but there are 2 that might be good. We’ll be checking them out.
I can’t believe in 2010 that the IL leg has no email accounts. Or maybe they just want the public to know them.
Since this is one that affects me, I am reading it now. The biggest concern I have is that it is so huge and there is so much room for misinterpretation! 57 pages, printed! A simple Repeal of the Amended Birth Certificate would suffice, particularly since, as I understand it, the records were not sealed completely until 1989 in IL! So, many mothers, myself included, were told when we relinquished, that our children would have the right to their birth certificate with our names on them, when they turned 18, and fully exected to be found by them.
